Launched SA: New Business Launch Event in Adelaide…
MILCO and the City of Charles Sturt bring founders, buyers and the local business community together in Bowden on Thursday 29 October, with an address from the Minister for Small and Family Business.
Four new South Australian businesses will officially launch together at LAUNCHED., a launch party for Adelaide founders, on Thursday 29 October at Oddio in Bowden.
Presented by Adelaide studio MILCO in collaboration with the City of Charles Sturt, the evening gives new businesses something most never get: a proper launch, in a room full of people ready to back them.
The idea comes from the host's own beginnings. In early 2020, Milly and Remco Albers launched the studio through a government-funded business program, which gave their new business a proper launch and a public spotlight that people still mention to them today.
Most small businesses never get that moment. LAUNCHED. was created to give it to them: four businesses launch together on one stage, showcase what they've built, and celebrate with potential customers, their own networks, and anyone thinking about starting something of their own.
The four founding teams span adaptive fashion, AI-powered software, shared warehousing and wellness. Each will take the stage to show what they have built, followed by a live spotlight session where City of Charles Sturt business advisors share what impressed them about each new venture.
The Hon Nadia Clancy MP, Minister for Small and Family Business, will address guests on the role small businesses play in South Australian communities and the importance of backing local.
The evening is a celebration of small business, sponsored by the City of Charles Sturt and MILCO.
MILCO is planning LAUNCHED. as a flagship event, with the potential to grow into a regular series partnering with councils across South Australia.
